This has got to be the worst apartment complex in Athens. First of all, I never actually got a copy of the lease. This is probably because the manager, Tina, doesn’t know how to do her job. Rather than sit outside and smoke all day with her husband, maybe she should do some work. She also made it so that we have no parking for our guests and that you will get towed if you park across the street in what was previously FREE parking until she got involved. Mill Street Village charges $20 a month to park in their lot. As a result, people started parking across the street, but Tina caught on and had people towed. I’ve even seen her across the street showing the tow truck drivers which ones to tow! The maintenance guy is nice, but there’s only ONE person to service all those apartments. As for the condition of the apartments – gross. The floors are disgusting, as they have hair and grime under the wax. In addition, the walls are cinder block and everything’s painted a terrible shade of off-white. They basically come into your apartment whenever they want. And trust me, they do it VERY frequently. There is no privacy and the manager changes the rules as she sees fit. I personally can’t wait to move. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention Ty, the RA. He’s a total creeper and peeping tom. He’s been caught before looking in female residents windows. And he’s the RA? Really? Personally, I feel that if you want or need an RA, live in a dorm! All Ty does is go around snooping, and then reports back to Tina so she can issue a stupid note on your door and probably a fine. There are a million other places to live in Athens – don’t waste your time in this dump.
