Athenshub.com was launched in January 2008 by John Sammon. He created the website while attending graduate school at Ohio University. Sammon felt the both the Athens and Ohio University community lacked a central hub where you could find all things happening Athens. The site was originally created with information on Athens, Ohio events, restaurants, rentals, real estate, job and book listings.

After two and a half years we are proud to relaunch the website with new and improved features. We’ve added several features to the rentals and real estate sections. Please check out the site and contact us if you have any questions.
